ROMANS 8: 14- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, They are the sons of God.
The beginning of this year has brought a sense of renewed purpose to our ministry here
and I believe that those who are led of the Spirit can sense this renewing in their lives
and their work for God as well.
Ever since this ministry here has started we have endeavored to follow the leading of the
Spirit of God. However, this awareness has been heightened this year by being attentive
to the Voice of God, and doing our best to not move or say anything until we have felt
that permission of the Holy Ghost to do so. We do this by praying without ceasing. (I
Thessalonians 5:17)
I want to convey this awareness to all of you who read this message; attend our services;
or in any kind of contact that you have with our ministry please be assured that we are
moving toward perfection in being led by the Spirit.
Jesus said: the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. And a stranger they will not
follow but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. (John 10: 4-5)
We must be sure that the voice we hear is truly the Voice of God. Many ministers and
false prophets appear and acclaim to be speaking with the authority of The Name of
Jesus when truly they hold the truth in unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18) What we heed
to must be more than the voice of flesh that we trust in; even though God anoints
vessels as the oracles of God to speak through; (I Peter 4: 11) We must make certain
that we ultimately trust the Voice of God more than man. Some have heeded to the
voice of flesh more than the Voice of God to their disappointment. When we hear these
strange voices we must make a stand for the truth and let Satan know; he is the father of
lies; (John 8:44) that we are led of the True Spirit and truly claim our heritage in God.
I believe that The Lord Jesus would be more pleased if we would take a stand against
the lies of the devil than being somebody that just simply proclaims truth and never takes
a stand against unrighteousness when we are confronted with such situations.
Also; we must be careful that what is leading us is more than emotion. Many times we
have seen people shout, dance, and give prophecies that do not come from God. We are
well aware of this kind of deception. The True Sheep of God do not follow that move.
There is a True Shout from the Holy Ghost and True Prophesy from the Holy Ghost.
Be careful to not doubt the True move of God. (I Thessalonians 5:20) However there
are other emotions that can be deceiving to people, if they are not careful in listening to
the Voice of God. Because someone preaches or sings something that makes you cry or
reminds you of something sentimental; or if they appear anointed because they remind
you of someone or something that moves on the sentiments of the flesh; these emotions
(the biblical term is affection) are just as wrong and deceiving as well.
The bible teaches to: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
(Colossians 3:2) There is an unction from the Holy One (I John 2:20) which is the
True move of the Spirit. The True move will quicken the mortal body. (Romans 8:
11-13) Therefore, let us be careful that the affection we have comes from God and not
from flesh and we will truly be led of The Spirit of God and be the True Sons of God.
I pray this message will encourage you to not be afraid of any voice that is not the Voice
of God. Nothing can separate you from His love. (Romans 8: 37-39) Faithfully follow
the leading of the Spirit and you cannot help but manifest the power of becoming The
True Sons of God. BEING LED OF HIS SPIRIT. (Romans 8: 16-21)
